What This Page Is For

This page explains the intended process for authorized public agencies to send valid legal requests to BTT Labs. Member questions and safety reports belong in Contact or the Safety Center. Every official request is checked for authenticity, legal authority, jurisdiction, necessity, and scope.

Send an Official Request

Use Contact. Do not send illegal material or unnecessary sensitive information.

Every request is authenticated and reviewed for legal authority, jurisdiction, necessity, and scope.

Helpful Account Details

Helpful identifiers include the registered email or phone number, SwipeBot account ID, report or case ID, conversation or message ID, verification reference, or store transaction reference. A public profile name by itself may not identify the correct account.

Preservation Requests

A preservation request should identify the account, exact date range, legal basis, and information to preserve. Preservation does not itself authorize disclosure. Available records may be preserved for the period required by law while valid process is obtained.

Urgent Safety Requests

An urgent request must describe an imminent risk of death or serious physical injury, identify the person at risk, explain why the requested information is necessary, and certify the official's authority. Clearly mark the request URGENT SAFETY REQUEST.

SwipeBot evaluates each request under applicable law and cannot guarantee that responsive data exists.

Member Notice

We may notify an affected member before or after disclosure unless the law forbids notice, notice would create a risk of harm, or another valid reason supports a delay.

Records That May Exist

Depending on retention and the features used, records may include account and profile information, broad location, limited private travel records, authentication events, verification status, introductions, messages, consent records, date plans, reports, account actions, purchase records, and security logs.

SwipeBot does not maintain continuous background location or an advertising profile.

Privacy and Narrow Scope

Member privacy is protected by default. Requests must be legally valid and reasonably specific. BTT Labs may object to vague, overbroad, technically impossible, or legally deficient requests and may seek reimbursement where the law allows it.
